Nseu Link

Finding a ride in Malawi often means waiting and hoping, while many drivers travel with empty seats. Nseu Link set out to connect drivers who have space with passengers heading the same way, in a simple and affordable way. We built the whole platform: a React Native mobile app for drivers and passengers, a Django and PostgreSQL backend that manages trips and accounts, a landing website that introduces the service and directs people to download the app from the Google Play Store, and the payment system behind it. Drivers pay a subscription to post their trips, while passengers use the app for free to find a trip and contact the driver. Drivers and passengers can now find each other, agree on a trip and meet up smoothly, and drivers have a simple way to fill the empty seats on journeys they're already making. IDE Malawi handled the product design, mobile and web development, backend and payment integration, and hosts the platform.
